Mistakes can be costly for some but rewarding for others! Cashcade owners of Foxy Bingo paid out a massive £50,000 cash prize on Monday 28th April 2008 due to backend error. According to Foxy a game designed to run as a coverall jackpot accidentally went on the bingo site as a guaranteed jackpot.

A very lucky player, tracey1801, got bingo in 60 calls and won the prize. Cashcade has honored and paid out £50,000 despite the game being advertised as a coverall game which had a prize of just £500.

This is a nice gesture from Foxy Bingo! Other sites may well have admitted the mistake and offered compensation. Of course the resulting publicity from this situation won’t hurt them, but it’s good to know that Foxy Bingo look after their players and are willing to stand up and be counted when mistakes are made.
