Vic Reeves Ends Association With 888 Ladies
Earlier in the year, whilst doing a review of 2008, we said “It’ll also be interesting to see whether Vic Reeves continues to be the face of 888 Ladies!”. Well we have the answer – he’s no longer the face of the bingo site. Vic’s face has been dropped from the site and that brings to an end a 12 month association with the bingo site.
Celebrity endorsements of bingo sites have always been short term affairs and so it’s not a massive surprise that the relationship between Vic and 888 has come to an end. Whilst he did add a much needed bit of fun to 888 Ladies, his presence on the site was no more than an image. Yes it was a focal point for their TV campaigns, but ask bingo players which adverts they most remember and we’d be surprised if Foxy Bingo was the number one choice.
With Vic now gone, Jordan departing from Foxy last year and Sharon Osbourne vanishing from Gala – that leaves just Alison Hammond over at Crown Bingo as the only online bingo celebrity endorsement!
