I say BOGOF! You say Bingo! Britain’s got Bingo it’s the BOGOF Bingo! It’s true… DJ Talent from Britain’s Got Talent does feature in the TV advert for bingo site BOGOF Bingo. Mr Talent who’s real name Anthony Ghosh takes his I’m The DJ Talent rap, which was loved by Piers Morgan and the crowd, from the talent show and applies it with a bit of style and vigor to the bingo world. Words may actually fail you when you watch this… you have been warned!
To be honest the tune doesn’t quite have the same appeal as “I say Britain, you say Talent, it’s Britains’ got talent, it’s the DJ Talent” nor does it have the same rawness that you got from his live vocal performances.
Most bingo TV ads are pretty poor, with Minxy Bingo being right up there, and very few get to national recognition level like Foxy Bingo unless they feature a known celebrity. Therefore, BOGOF may well have pulled a rabbit out of the bag in TV bingo advertising terms. The advert is memorable because it’s actually so bad in a cheesy sense and the song is catchy (although it’s hard to think of DJ Talent and not sing the right lyrics).
Advert and Talent aside, dont’ let them put you off, do take a look at BOGOF Bingo. It’s new and is offering it’s player free bingo for up to 2 hours each day. There are also prizes up for grabs too.
