Bingo Celebrities
Bingo and celebrity have enjoyed a short flirtation. Kerry Katona endorsed Bingos, Jordan endorsed Foxy Bingo, Sharon Osbourne could be found at Gala Bingo and Vic Reeves of all people popped up over on 888 Ladies. Keith Chegwin launched Cheggers Bingo and Mr Paparazzi followed suit. Out of all those only Chegger’s has survived although Reeves recently returned in an 888 TV advert. Even the days of Big Brother chats have long gone.
That’s not to say celebrity chats and endorsements have long gone. Sheree Murphy recently turned up for Gala Bingo’s World Cup promotions whilst bingo has taken to endorsing TV programmes such as Emmerdale (Tombola), The Chase (ITV Bingo) and Jeremy Kyle (Foxy Bingo). However, it’d be a surprise to see a big name on a bingo site as seen in the days of Katona and Jordan.
