Julie Peasgood Joins Gala Bingo for Soap Star Bingo
Former Brookside, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks actress Julie Peasgood will join ex-Eastender Chris Parker on this Friday’s ‘Soap Star Bingo’ show on Gala TV. Each week a different soap star will join Chris on the Friday evening show, which is broadcast throughout June between 8-9pm on Sky and Freesat channel 861 as well as via Gala Bingo.
Julie is the only UK actress to have starred in the 3 forementioned soaps; she played Fran Pearson in Brookside (bring back Brookie!!), Jo Steadman in Emmerdale and Jacqui Hudson in Hollyoaks. Julie has also appeared on Loose Women and is the author of “The Greatest Sex Tips in the World”! That’ll come in useful if she ever dropped in at Ann Summers Bingo!
Julie told Gala Bingo that she’s looking forward to the show! She said “Bingo is great fun and I can’t wait to get behind that podium and try my hand at calling.”
Julie follows other soap stars Joe Swash and James Redmond onto the show.
Celebrities have been missing from online bingo for a while now, and the only real characters left are Foxy over at Foxy Bingo and of course Cheggers! So it’s great to see Gala at least trying to generate some celeb interest with Soap Star Bingo.
