Mecca Bingo Start Search for Bingo Buddy of the Year
Mecca Bingo is launching a nationwide search to celebrate something that we all look for and that’s true friendship. if you have a special friend who you enjoy playing bingo with then now’s your chance to thank them plus grab the chance to win a fantastic all-expenses-paid trip, including spending money, to New York or London for you and your “bingo buddy”!
Mecca’s ‘Bingo Buddy of the Year’ competition aims to recognise and celebrate the thousands of friendships that have been built over the years. From always being there for you in times of need, to cheering you up when you’re feeling a bit low, to simply making you smile, good friends are hard to come by.
A spokesperson for Mecca Bingo commented: “So many of our members tell us that they have made great friends through bingo that we like to think we are the country’s largest female social club! This is something to be celebrated.”
To enter the competition simply nominate your best friend and explain, in fifty words or less, why they deserve the title of Mecca Bingo Buddy of the Year 2009. You will need to pop in to your local Mecca Bingo Hall to take part and drop off your nomination! Entry closes on 31st January 2009.
Each club will have one winner and from these seven regional winners will go through to a national final, to be held on Tuesday 24 March at Mecca Bingo in Wednesbury, West Midlands. A judging panel including Jane McDonald, singer and star of ITV’s popular Loose Women, will select the national winner.
There’s a great range of prizes on offer.
Each club winner and the buddy who nominates them will be able to indulge themselves with a delicious Cadbury Chocolate hamper/ Regional winners get a year’s supply of Cadbury Chocolate! The national winner and their buddy will then be able to choose an all-expenses-paid short break, including spending money, to either New York or London.
