Easter Egg Cash Hunt Gets Underway at Moon Bingo
If the weather isn’t looking too great but you fancy taking part in an Easter Egg Hunt then head on over to Moon Bingo who are holding a £1000 cash giveaway. To be fair it’s more of an Easter Egg points accumulation rather than an actual hunt, but a hunt is what they’re calling it. There are four eggs to chase – gold, silver, chocolate and blue – and each has it’s own prize value.
Each egg also has it’s own player action associated with it. For every £20 you deposit your golden egg points rise by 2. For every £10 you wager your silver egg increases in value by 1 point. Spend £10 on instant games and your chocolate egg gets another point and finally by calling bingo on the Easter Bunny pattern or playing 10 games of bingo you get a blue egg point.
At the end of the promotion, which runs until the 11th April, the top 5 players in each egg category share the prizes. £500, £300, £125 and £50. Now worryingly Moon seem to have made a mess of their numbers. The Gold Egg at £500 is fine (5 players get £100 each), but for the Silver Egg they say £300 is on offer, but 5 players get £50 each (so that’s £250). The chocolate and blue eggs are fine too – but total up the prize money and it’s a touch short of £1000.
You do sometimes get the feeling that bingo sites just try that little bit too hard with their promotions. We’ve never really been a fan of the points for prizes systems that some sites employ as once a handful dominate the leader boards there’s little encouragement for new players or occasional players to take part. Of course it’s good to reward the big spenders, but a chance to win a few choccy eggs (perhaps with the differential prize money) would have been nice to see.
