Paddy Power Bingo Launch New Ezine Called Bingo Power
Bingo sites are forever coming up with new ideas to engage with their bingo community and it seems like magazines are the order of the day at the moment. Foxy Bingo have apparently launched Foxy Friends (we’re still waiting for a copy to drop through the door) whilst Paddy Power Bingo have launched Bingo Power. The good thing about this is that it’s an eZine meaning it’s online so a lot more environmentally friendly than the old Foxy one (if it turns up).
As you’d expect Paddy Power Bingo are pretty pleased with their magazine. Sarah Bateson, Bingo Manager, explained “our roomies are so fantastic, it made perfect sense to us to use player’s real life stories to create a magazine for players by players! The first issue went out on Friday and our roomies are already loving it!”.
We’ve taken a look at Bingo Power and it’s not bad. It’s like an interactive and slightly longer newsletter but in the style of Take a Break or a Sunday supplement. There are stories about winners, some celebrity stuff and even a competition offering you the chance to win 1 of 5 digital cameras. You need to be a registered Paddy Power Bingo player to take part in that prize draw.
The advantage of the online magazine is that you can interact with it. There’s a fun true or false Deal or No Deal type quiz and even a video greeting from the editor. As you’d expect there are also plenty of links back to Paddy Power so you can play bingo or take part in this month’s promotion to win Dyson cleaners and other goodies.
