Posh Bingo Reveal The Poshest Celebrities
Posh Bingo recently conducted a survey to find Britain’s poshest celebrity and it’s good news for Her Majesty as she finished top of the tree with 18% of the vote. Some way behind was Ab-Fab actress Joanna Lumley, who’s poshness has been used to good effect in car insurance advertising. Surprisingly Nigel Havers, who surely must be as posh as Lumley, didn’t even feature despite also being used by Privilege!
Perhaps an indicator to the strength and depth of the poll comes in the fact that X Factor judge Cheryl Factor polled 5% of the national vote and there is the third poshest celebrity according to Posh Bingo. Now Cheryl’s lovely, yes, bust posh? We’re not so sure about that one here at Bingo Blog.
The results were influenced by regionality though. Lumley, for example, came out on top among voters in Wales and Essex. Cheryl Cole tied with the Queen as the first choice in her native North East and in the South West, where Britain’s Got Talent star Amanda Holden and Posh Spice Victoria Beckham also scored highly.
Also making the top ten posh people were Helen Mirren, Katie Price, David Beckham, Davina McCall, Peter Andre and Prince Charles. Nearly a fifth of respondents named themselves as the country’s poshest person!

Poshbingo’s Maurice Karpes, who by his very name sounds posher then everyone else on the list, doesn’t “think Katie Price or David Beckham would claim to be posh, yet their celebrity status is sufficient to give them a certain prestige.
