Tombola Sponsors Emmerdale And Needs You!
How would you like to star in a clip just before Emmerdale? Well you could be on the telly thanks to Tombola as they need you! Tombola have just announced that they are sponsoring the popular soap and want their players to take part in the sponsorship bumpers (to give them their official term) for Emmerdale.
To register your interest just login to your Tombola account and let them know why you want to be in the ads. If you play with a group of friends then why not get them involved too? You’ll need to include a photo with your application and be available on the 24th October or sometime between the 2nd and 5th November.
The filming will take place in London (shame it’s not in the Woolpack) and don’t worry about costs as if you’re chosen to take part Tombola will cover reasonable travel expenses.

This is a massive step for Tombola who are unsurprisngly “thrilled” with their sponsorship deal. They say that “Emmerdale is all about the community and that’s exactly what tombola is all about too so we thought it was a perfect fit”!
Emmerdale themselves aren’t new to bingo. In the days of ITV Bingo, a deal with Party Bingo, there was a Coronation Street and Emmerdale bingo room. These closed down in May 2009 (although there’s still a link on the ITV website).
Hopefully Tombola will have better luck and who knows, with product placement advertising coming to British TV perhaps we’ll soon be seeing the likes of Betty, Edna, Zak and even Charity sitting down for a few games of Bingo Roulette, Cinco or Bingo 50.
