Foxy Bingo Greases Up For New TV Advert
No sooner do you say there’s not much happening at Foxy Bingo than they go and revamp their website and stick out a brand new TV commercial. You can see the latest Foxy advert below. It features “our hero” shopping in a supermarket before launching into a revamped version of You’re The One That I Want from the hit musical Grease. The Sandy role is taken up by Mandy whilst Foxy is “John Travolta”.
The fox character has had a lot more CGI in this latest advert, and is a far cry from the man in the fox suit from earlier attempts. He does seem to be heading back to his lecherous old ways too (watch that tongue when Mandy’s singing “you better keep up…”). To be fair the Foxy character that appears in the Jeremy Kyle bumpers looks a lot better and Avatar won’t be quaking in it’s boots about losing any CGI awards.
But, as ever it’s a fun advert with a catchy tune that won’t age either. We’d be surprised if they’ll be a better bingo advert in 2010. However, we’re also wondering how many times “I’ve got balls that are multiplying” will remain schoolboy humour funny.
