He’s Back – He’s Foxy and There’s £1million of Bingo Jackpots
The answer to who is he has finally been revealed – he’s Foxy of Foxy Bingo. A recent TV ad campaign saw a teaser for a website called He is Back and people were asked to suggest who they thought would be returning. Amongst the suggestions were Jonathan Ross, Ken Clarke and even Coronation Street’s Jim McDonald… they were good, but they’re not right as the answer is just simply Foxy or Mr Fox!
The ad campaign was the launch of a big promotion for Foxy Bingo who are offering £1million in guaranteed jackpots until the end of February 2009. A second advert is now running showing a large Glitterball shaped UFO heading to Earth before landing in some woodlands in the UK. The UFO becomes surrounded by inquisitive ladies wearing completely the wrong attire for a late night walk in the woods in search of alien life forms.
Interestingly there does seem to be any overly smartly dressed guys with torches wondering through the woods at that time of night. Anyway UFO opens and Foxy emerges to tell everyone he’s back, then to the sound of Funky Town the Fox and ladies start dancing. Up to this point the advert is cool…
… and then it goes all Chico on us as Foxy announces that “It’s Foxy Time” thereby maintaining the trend of cheesey, female orientated bingo adverts. It’s a slick production and will no doubt be remembered by those who see it… it also doesn’t have kids eyebrows in it which is a major plus point.
